These terms govern your use of the Pluely desktop application and the pluely.com website. By installing or using Pluely you agree to them. Releases and release notes are published on GitHub.
1. License grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Pluely on your devices, subject to your plan's limits (such as the number of device activations). Paid features are licensed, not sold; your license key is for your own use and may not be shared or resold.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use Pluely lawfully and responsibly. That means:
- Complying with the laws that apply to you, including laws on recording and transcribing conversations in your jurisdiction.
- Respecting the rules of the meetings, exams, interviews, and organizations you take part in — you are responsible for whether and how you use Pluely in a given setting.
- Not attempting to abuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer the hosted services, circumvent plan limits, or use the service to violate others' rights.
3. Subscriptions, renewals, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through LemonSqueezy, our payment provider and merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time via the payment provider's customer portal (linked in your purchase emails); cancellation stops future renewals and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. One-time purchases (such as Dev Pro) do not renew.
4. Refunds
If something isn't working for you, contact support@pluely.com and we'll help — refund requests are handled through support together with the payment provider.
5. No warranty
Pluely is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI-generated output can be wrong; you are responsible for verifying it before relying on it.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pluely and its author are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. When we do, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
